Igla 231 is a digital vehicle anti-theft system that uses an innovative engine or transmission locking mechanism to ensure security. During installation standard CAN/LIN bus wiring is used so no additional wiring is required. The installation does not damage the vehicle’s factory wiring. The protection can be deactivated using a personal PIN code set by the vehicle owner using the factory buttons in the car or via a smartphone app that uses encrypted Bluetooth communication. The Igla 231 system also offers a third authorization method via a key fob with a built-in accelerometer which allows the fob to wake when in use and enter sleep mode when at rest. Thanks to its small size and confirmations provided through the vehicle’s factory signals only after authorization IGLA remains invisible and difficult to detect.
