Emu will not work with:
- With the radio described as R013 PHII (PH2-phase 2), we have started working on unlocking this model.
Remember that the radio can be unlocked only for models where it is not possible to enter the code, i.e. the display after connecting the radio says “Radio locked, Please contact dealer”
This board, when mounted to the inside of the radio, will unlock an aftermarket radio.
Below is a short video of how the device works (board mounted in OBD2 as a test, normally the board should be installed inside the radio according to the review photo attached below)
The emulator has an automatic unlocking code learning function.
We have improved the algorithm, and currently, there is no need to remove the CAN filter, which means diagnostics will remain active, and in the case of cars with steering wheel control via CAN, you will not lose this function.
The V4 version has a button to reset the emulator code, which allows installation in another radio.
Each emulator is assembled manually and tested after installation on the appropriate radio.
Instructional photo for connecting the emulator (please do not remove the CAN filter in the V4 version.):
Description of the LED indicator in the V4 version:
- The LED flashes very quickly – the emulator is searching for the code. This lasts no longer than 2-5 seconds.
- The LED will light up for 2 seconds after turning on the ignition, then flash slowly – the code has been sent to the radio and the emulator is in sleep mode.
- The LED does not light up at all – no power or a faulty emulator.
Resetting the emulator to the initial state – with the power on, press and hold the button for about 5 seconds until the LED starts flashing quickly. Performing this procedure with the CAN connected will cause the radio code to be learned by the emulator to which it was connected.
WARNING:
Remember that we will not accept the return of the device if it shows signs of soldering. Of course, this applies to consumer returns.
