This functionality allows component security (CS) bytes to be read from locked BCM2 2013-2018 modules for both A4/A5/Q5 and A6/A7/A8/Touareg platforms. These CS bytes are then used for key programming. -

The VN009 allows programming of new OEM keys and remotes when at least one working key is present. A situation where there are no working keys at this time is a no-go. -
