Key Inspector KT011

KT011 -Key Inspector is an additional software function that allows all data to be read from the key . It works with the Abrites PROTAG programmer. When you place the key in the PROTAG programmer and read it with Key Inspector, you will see all the information contained inside the key. This largely depends on the type of key, but you can usually expect to see detailed information ranging from the transponder type for older key types to full, detailed information such as:

• Key type
• Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
• Vehicle colour code
• Vehicle type
• Time and date of last drive
• Battery voltage
• Amount of fuel in the tank
• Mileage recorded in the key
• ALL POSSIBLE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THE KEY

 

PIT (PCF 7931, 7935, ELMOS)
• BMW Key’s:
– Key brand – BMW
– Remore control function available – YES or NO
– Transponder/processor type (7935 or 7931) / (ELMOS)
– Key position in immobiliser – ‘0 to 9’
– Fixed key code: ‘16 characters’
– Vehicle equipment data
– VIN number
– Mileage values stored in the key at last start-up

 

HITAG2 
• All vehicles
– Transponder ID: xx xx xx xx xx
– Transponder type – PCF 7936, 7945, 7941, 7961 etc.
– Transponder status – Locked (already programmed) or Empty (not programmed)
